Sleeps 6 - Fisherman’s Cottage is a double fronted cottage full of lots of charm and character. It is located in a quiet location on Gunn Gutter in the heart of the old village. The property has been upgraded and redecorated throughout in 2022 and is the perfect property for couples wanting more space or a family wanting the benefit of three bedrooms. The cottage benefits from lovely morning sunshine and there is a bench where you can sit outside an enjoy your early cup of tea or coffee. There is full central heating throughout, so the cottage is cosy whatever time of the year. Free Wi-Fi access. Please note that the internal staircases are steep and may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.
Ground Floor – open plan lounge/diner with two sofas and an armchair; electric fire; TV with Netflix (own account required) and DVD with selection of DVDs. Large dining table seating 6. In the separate kitchen there is a large range cooker; washing machine; fridge with freezer compartment and Nespresso coffee machine. Tiled/laminate floors throughout.
First Floor – light and airy double bedroom with wardrobe and chest of drawers; twin bedroom with chest of drawers; house bathroom with toilet, sink, bath and walk in shower.
Second Floor – another light and bright bedroom with king sized bed, French style wardrobe and chest of drawers. The access staircase to the second floor is steep and may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.
Outside – bench seating to the front of the cottage.

Fisherman’s Cottage is only a short walk to the harbour, local pubs and village amenities. Guests will need to approach the cottage on foot and short term parking is available in the High Street for unloading. The main car park is a 5-10 minute walk from the cottage and we provide one complimentary parking permit for the North Yorkshire Council car park (subject to council terms of use).
