Short term parking is available in the High Street for unloading and the main car park is a 5-10 minute walk from the cottage. We provide one parking permit when charges apply March to October inclusive. The harbour, local pubs and amenities are only a short walk away. Please note the cottage must be accessed via a number of steps up from the back of High Barrass and may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.
Ground Floor – entrance lobby which is perfect for storing wellies and coats. Large and airy living room with sea views to the front and lots of natural light. Original beams and sash windows. The room is cosy with log burner and electric panel heaters. Dining table seating up to 6. Separate well equipped kitchen with all modern integrated appliances.
First Floor - spacious king sized bedroom with vintage bedstead, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Good sized modern bathroom with roll top bath, walk in shower, sink, toilet and heated towel rail. Both views have sea views to the front.
Second Floor - another spacious double room with amazing sea views from right at the top of the property. Bunk room which is a great space for children. There is also a cloakroom with toilet and sink to the rear of this floor.
Outside - patio area directly outside the front of the cottage with table and chairs and views across the roof tops towards the harbour. Steps lead up to two separate stone seating areas with amazing views of the village, harbour and North Sea beyond. Due to the elevated location of the cottage the seating areas are the perfect sunny spot to enjoy a cup of tea or glass of wine.
